Hi Everyone
Thinking ahead to Chemo- has anyone with no private health insurance been able to arrange a private room or home therapy for chemo?
Sherrill
Hi Sherrill welcome to the forum. I m not sure what the situation is with no private health insurance would be but I have to assume that it would be arranged through the NHS if that was the case in the United Kingdom.
I cant think that folks would be keen to have chemo at home or be by themselves during chemo in a private room, so not sure how that would be for folks. The main reason for this being done in a hospital setting is that sterilety can be maintained and also medical support is available should people have any adverse effects when having chemo.
Not sure if that's helpful or not?
