Is a long wait for radiotherapy putting me at risk of recurrence?
Hi Lottie08c52c
I can see from your other post that you had surgery 13 weeks ago. How long are you having to wait? Are you currently having chemo or have you had it in the past?
Radiotherapy is intended to reduce the risk of recurrence and I am a little surprised it’s taking this long to get started, unless it’s because you are currently having chemo. The surgery is the most important treatment as that removed the known cancer.
