Hi, I am asking on behalf of my daughter who has completed her 24 chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment and due to have lumpectomy on 2nd January.
Firstly for the last 12 weeks she has suffered with intense buttock pain which has finally been diagnosed as sciatica, having various medications to help but still agony for her, has anyone had similar issues and if so what helped? I bought her a back massager last week but that has not shown any improvement yet
.
Secondly,can anyone recommend a cushion for her to ease her discomfort after lumpectomy and lymph node removal, there is so much choice, it is overwhelming.
it is so hard watching my daughter in such a dire situation and not being able to make it better.

I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum. I'm sorry to hear that your daughter has been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. While I don't have any advice for you as I didn't use a cushion after I had my lumpectomy I noticed that you haven't had any replies yet so I thought I'd reply to you to move you to the top of the discussion. Hopefully someone will be along shortly with any answer for you. If not I suggest that you put the question into the breast cancer forum which I've also noticed that you are a member of as that's a busier forum than this one.
