Apparently omega 6 linoleic acid can cause TNBC to grow faster - a study published in March this year in "Science" and widely reported. I'm wondering whether to try and cut this down in my diet - ie avoid seeds, seed oils (eg sunflower), pork and other items with high linoleic acid. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Has anyone had any advice from their doctor? One link below.
Omega 6 is generally good for you, but various refined oils and processed foods that contain linoleum acid are not. This is a pre-clinical trial describing what happened to a few mice. I think avoid the vegetable oil, corn oil etc and stick to a healthy Mediterranean style diet.
