Just wanted to catch up with my tnbc friends and see how you are all doing. I have lost all the threads of conversation on here. Where are you at now?

I have appointments today with oncologist and later surgeon. I am hoping for scans to tell me the 4 cycles of doxcetacel carbo and the 2 of FEC have done something at least. I've not been examined or even looked at for 6 months.

I am also hoping surgery is imminent but not before I go on holiday to Lanzarote and my daughter's 16th on 5th December.

Hoping you are all well and your treatment plans are going as planned.

  • Hi there,

I hope you had some positive news regarding your scans, to spur you on and give you a bit of a lift.

Lovely that you have a couple of treats booked to look forward. A family celebration and some sunshine are just what you need I should think.

I started 12 x paclitaxol/carbo today and feel washed out but ok. So hope this does the trick as EC did little for me.

Good that us TNBC ladies keep in touch....we are special and it's good to hear from others

    Have a relaxing weekend

  • Hi cheesewell

I’m finished treatment and I’m feeling good. I’ll be going back to work at the end of this month and I’m looking forward to it.

    Best wishes

  • Hi

Good to hear you are both doing ok.

No scans for me. Surgeon just felt the lump and said no need as mastectomy and full node clearance.

I'm not going abroad now as the surgeon put me off re insurance.

Date for surgery is 22nd December. I was offered 24th first. Mmmmm

So happy for you Daisy that you are done. Hope you are getting back to some kind of normality and good luck with work. Let me know how it goes. I'm concerned about work as I feel so different about it at the moment.

Himalaya I hope your chemo continues to be half decent to you. I'm ok but am left with left arm neuropathy and my legs and joints are so painful. Feels like someone is constantly pinging elastic bands in them.

Im hoping this will vanish in a week or two.

    Lots of love.
