Dear all, I have a problem of candida-oral and vaginal-taking fluconazole but it only seems to be helping not stopping it. I am due to start radiotherapy and have to phone to see if this will delay starting it. I have read that radiotherapy makes candida more likely to be a problem. Any thoughts?
Hi
I can't help with your question but noticed that you hadn't had any replies yet. You could also post this in the main breast cancer group as there may be people in that group who have got experience with this.
Another idea is to post your question in the Ask a Nurse section of the online community and one of the specialist nurses will aim to respond within 2 working days.
Wishing you all the best with your radiotherapy
