Hi - just joined and haven't been able to find an answer to this...
I'm past menopause (53 years old) and 2 weeks ago had my final (4th) cycle of adjuvant TC chemo. It has only been after this 4th cycle that the boob where I had the 3.2 cm tumour and 4 lymph nodes removed, has felt tender or sensitive.
Has anyone else experienced this during chemo?
Hi I had a reaction with 1st Fec,affected boob went hot and tight and I had to be cut out of my favourite soft bra in the treatment room.On friday for the second round had a similar not as dramatic reaction. After first treatment the tightness went and the nurse was able to measure shrinkage. The tight penicil like tumor now feels like a shrinking twiglet.lol.They had heard about it in training but not seen it before.
Sorry forgot to say as neo adjunct treatment.
Great that it's working!
I think I've figured it out and it's as simple as it being lymphedema...fingers crossed.
Good luck for your next cycle.
