How helpful to us are the results of mid chemo MRI scans?

Hi there my tumour is a similar size and shrunk in the same way! It has gone 4 cm to 2

I am only recently diagnosed and started chemo 6 weeks ago and am over the moon at the success of the chemotherapy as was the consultant radiographer I attend and the  oncologist .

My knowledge is nothing like others on here but be positive my lovely with that outcome.  I’m sure there are many who don’t respond so well so quickly to the chemo  and others who have dreadful side effects and can’t even sustain the treatment. We have much to be grateful for despite this horrible disease we have been dealt in the lottery of life! xxxx

Thanks for replying. We seem to be similar. I’ve had three, 3 week cycles of EC and yesterday started on Paclitaxel x 9. I certainly don’t want to discourage those ladies who haven’t managed this amount of shrinkage. After the appointment I realised the questions that I could have asked, eg Is this to be expected? 
Unfortunately I had a rough time after first chemo then ‘sailed’ through the next two. Absolutely agree there is much to be grateful for and hope I can sustain this treatment. Thanks again. Good luck.

Bless you It is all new ground for all of us and yes you always think of the questions when you come away from seeing the consultant!!!
