I suppose that means you are off the c-trak trial. Have you asked that trial team whether there are any other trials for which you might be eligible? They might have some insider knowledge - better than a random internet search.

I don't know what standard care is in your circumstances. Did they give you no indication, beyond the mastectomy? Do you have a date for that, yet?

Thank you AP7. Yes off the trial now but without having been on it this wouldn’t have been picked up for months. Silver lining   I’m getting a detailed MRI in a couple of weeks as something maybe suspicious on my sternum too, although might just be damage from radiotherapy. I’m thinking the worst. If it is something then I’ll go on another trial but if it’s just in my breast then aim not sure what. There are no trials for local recurrence in the UK.

I had a same side recurrence 3.5 years after initial treatment. I had a mastectomy and LD reconstruction. I had chemo too, just to be on the safe side. Couldn't have radiation as that side had already been radiated.
