After treatment finishes

I see your post hasn't had a reply in this group and I wonder if you might get some ladies in the main breast group who can offer you some advice.  It's a lot busier than this group as it covers all the types of breast cancer and there may be some ladies who have had similar treatment and can help.

If it's of any help, caffeine can also exacerbate stomach issues (something I discovered when I was on antibiotics for an MRSA infection in my leg whilst undergoing treatment for breast cancer), so if you enjoy a lot of coffee that might be worth trying decaff coffee /tea

Hay Chick, Just come across this. I also had really bad digestive problems after I finished chemo. Obviously get it checked if your worrying but I think it’s totally normal. I had 4 AC 12 paclitaxol and 4 carboplatin. Finished it in July and not long been able to ‘toilet’ better. Try getting lots of greens in you!! Hope you feel better soon xx

Thanks Lozlauren, it’s improved slightly since my last post and I’m certainly tucking into those greens. As always it’s like stepping into the unknown and deal with the daily surprises my body throws at me. Many thanks xx
