Post radiotherapy..chest infection

I completed radiotherapy January this year. 15 sessions plus 5 boost.  I started coughing within a couple of days of it starting and progressively got worse with shortness of breath etc. Eventually diagnosed April with a partially collapsed lung and pneumonia only discovered after my 6 month breast mri in April.   3 weeks of antibiotics sorted me. I had chest ct scan which showed the collapse in more detail after the mri. I asked if this was caused by the radiotherapy and was told probably not....hmmmm.  I really hope you feel better soon x

Thanx for your reply.im supposed to be going back to work next week phased in...I work in a hospital and think I'll scare my patients let alone colleagues.... I have my 6 monthly check this month.so hope they can come up with some answers..thanx again.x
