    Hi Swift15

I am so sorry to read your news.  Like you I was diagnosed in April 2017 with TNBC and in November 2018 I was told of it recurring in my chest wall.  The shock at the time is difficult to Explain.  I started on Eribulin about two weeks after my diagnosis. This my sound strand but I actually felt better once I Started back on chemo...I suppose I felt I was actually doing something.

I have 4 cycles of chemo and them I am scanned again.  I have cimplcomp the first of these and thankfully my scan showed stable so I am now mid way through my second 'stint'.  The few days wait between the scan and the results is difficult so try plan something nice for yourself.

I wish you well. I won't say don't worry ...I think we are built for that but do keep positive thoughts..it does help.

    Mary

  • Hi Swift15 and Rchapel. Really keen to hear how you are both doing now and what treatment you have received for the recurrence?  I’m waiting for further test results but I have a confirmed recurrence where my original tnbc tumour was. Other than mastectomy I’m not sure what else happens....
