I have been asked to join a trial for women who have had Triple Negative Breast Cancer.  It is called c-TRAK TN:

If anyone has joined this or been asked to join please can you let me know how you feel about it?  I am thinking I will join this once I have finished my treatment which will be June or July.  I have all the literature about it just have to make a decision now. Yes or no that is the question what is my answer going to be.  I do want to help but nervous too. Hope someone else out there has been asked to join and will share their feelings ????

    Hi

Can't recall seeing it mentioned here before, so perhaps you are the first :)

If any other TN ladies would like more info on the c-TRAK TN trial just click the link to see the criteria and locations etc.

Hi, I was also offered Asprin trial but they feel the cTrak trial would be better as Grade 3 and residual cancer too?  I think I’m going to give it a go as anything to help it not coming back or detecting it earlier if it does!

    Wishing you good luck

    Hi Shadow123

My oncologist suggested it to me and it is being run at the Royal Marsden Sutton Surrey near to where I live.

It seems that there are different trials going on at different hospitals around the country.

I will sign up for this trial and hope that my tumour sample and bloods are suitable for it?

I wish you and your friend all the best keep positive

    Take care

Hi, I really don’t know.  I won’t be starting trial (if I test suitable) until I finish the Capecitabine so I won’t be starting till June/July?

I would speak to your oncologist at Frimley Park and see what they say, hopefully they can get in contact with Sutton.

Wishing you good luck please let me know how you get on.

Hope the Capecitabine has been okay for you.

    Take care
