Hi all. Thank you for sharing all your experiences. You are brave. I am in the process to let it sink in my understanding about my recent metastatic papillary cancer diagnosis, confirmed on tge 24 July 2026. Words new to me. I have always looked after my neck when coming out from a gig i ve been singing, covering it with a scarf so I could protect my voice. Then when I noticed a lump which would not go away and constant trips to the doctor thinking that antibiotics will kill any bacteria… with a cough which wouldn’t go away. I never imagined that I could have cancer in that area of my body. I did stop working two days ago at my day job as I couldn’t get through the day, it was very physically demanding. And I had to cancel the few gigs I was scheduled for. I’m keeping it cold headed as I have to organise my finances, my surgery and post op treatment. Life is a question constantly. I told my sister I thought I didn’t need to speak to someone about this circumstance but I think I do and I will need.
