Just about to start my third RAI treatment and feel anxious

Hi, I’m a newbie here although had my surgery 2 years ago. I had a total thyroidectomy and neck dissection with lymph nodes removed. My tumours were large and like others Ive read about stuck to my windpipe and had crushed my vocal cords they were papillary and they think been there for many many years (after reviewing old x rays) with absolutely no symptoms. After the first RAI it appeared that the remaining cancer had gone from my neck but there were lung nodules noticed and since then I’ve had further RAI last year to try and eradicate them but they are still growing. I’m just about to start a third round of RAI in a final attempt to get rid of them. Has anyone else had similar experiences with nodules in their lungs? I’m trying not to get too stressed but it’s so hard at times. I know what to expect now during and after the RAI so that’s not the hard part… it’s all the what if’s that are hard to get over!! Like everyone else on here after 2 years I’m still learning to cope with the tiredness and tearful days and trying to control my anxiety. Thanks for all your posts it’s good to read that I’m not alone xx
