Good Evening
A couple months ago I was diagnosed with Medullary Thyroid Cancer that had metastasized into my lymph nodes. The tumor was quite large and deep on the left side of my thyroid and abutted against my trachea and around my vocal chords. My oncologist's medical opinion was to treat me with a trial drug called Selpercatinib before I had my surgery to remove the tumors. I was advised that Selpercatinib had been successful in trials in shrinking tumors and stopping the RET mutation from progressing. Has anyone here been treated with Selpercatinib? If so could you advise of your experiences?
Thanks in advance.
Hi, welcome to the forum, I too have MTC but can't help you with Selpercatinib so I'm going to tag CCRNandMTCsurvivor as I believe he was being treated with Selpercatinib and may be able to help you more. Best wishes going forward and let us meddies know how you get on. X
