Hi, I’m new to the group and a little bit about myself. I was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer in 2022 and had 2 operations to remove all the thyroid. Had 2 rounds of radioactive iodine treatment and on my last yearly check up of US they have found something so 4 biopsies later they have found something in my neck that is not related to my thyroid cancer so off to have more MRI scans and a PET scan. Where my cancer was is clear so that is good news. Life certainly does challenge you when you thought you were moving on from cancer.
Awww bless you, life is cruel and confusing right?!?
Hope whatever it is, is easily treated for you I'm sure you've been through enough lately x
Let us know how it goes x
Hi Lemons and welcome. Gosh I do feel for you yes after going through all that! But good it's clear where the cancer was found before though. I guess at least with us all having these post treatment checkups now, hopefully it means they are picking up anything else going on fairly promptly.
I've got everything crossed for you for the results of your biopsy and scans. Do let us know how you're getting on
