Hi, I had 2 thyroid surgeries in 2022 and 2 radioactive iodine treatments and no cancer has come back in the area I had it. To get through surgeries I meditated to keep myself calm. I hope this helps.
Hey, I have follicular variant Papillary thyroid carcinoma was confirmed after I had a full thyroidectomy. X2 suspicious FNA's couldn't confirm but I also had Graves disease so went ahead with TT, surgery was ok tbh, I've always had a thing I never wanted surgery but it wasn't too bad, when I woke had a sore throat but could eat fine, I've been tired but medication needs altering and they didn't want to yet as I just had RIA yesterday.
Hope all goes well whatever you decide x
