hi all I have had a biopsy and been told it’s a thy3f. I have surgery in 2 weeks time. Unfortunately the last couple of weeks. My lymph nodes swelled up and the left side of my face. The swelling had gone down now, but since the swelling I have not been able to eat any solid foods. I have been living off soup and fluids.
I have been to see my consultant, and my GP who have both said there is nothing they can do until I have my surgery. I have weighed myself today and I have lost 7lb in 1 week.
this is so frustrating and I feel sick I am that hungry. Also went dizzy today.
Not sure what to do but I feel like no one is listening to me.
Hi Bluebell12
Sorry to hear about what you are going through that sounds very difficult. I know when Janice was in hospital after having been very ill and lost quite a lot of weight the doctors gave her ensure drinks, some she felt were ok but there were a number she did not like at all. Later he GP prescribed complan that was available in many supermarkets.
If you would like to talk to someone you would be welcome to ring the helpline anytime between 8am and 8pm 7 days a week - 0808 808 0000.
<<hugs>>
Steve
