Hi I had thyroidectomy nearly 2 years ago im still on calcium d3 supplements, in December parathyroid was 2.7pmol so at low end. Still not been diagnosed but clearly I must have mild hypoparathyroidism as when supplements were deducted calcium went low. When it's hot seem to get some mild  tingling every now and then in feet, toes and fingers it's not persistent also the odd twitch. I did ask gp if it's pernant they said wait and see, I have not been told anything. I know I have been on here before about this. Just wondered if anyone else who has this problem is having symptoms in heat. I have been eating more calcium foods and drinking yogurt drinks.

  • Hello

I am Brian, one of the Community Champions here on the online Community. I have just noticed your post has gone unanswered. I can't answer it myself as I have a different cancer, however by me replying your post will be "bumped up" to the top of the page and I hope seen and replied to by other members of the Thyroid cancer group.

As this "heatwave" is now passing I do hope you have improved.

    Best wishes - Brian.
