I had thyroidectomy July 24,I'm still currently on 1 adcal daily I did get them stopped but then had to restart back on 2 aday which only had very mild symptoms, then had endocrinology and they reduced 1 supplement even though adjusted calcium was at lower end of normal now 6 weeks after reduction been getting more frequent twitches and mild tingles in fingers , toes and feet but more noticeable mainly in evening and the sudden itch on feet, I ve reported t to gp and getting an earlier blood test on Tuesday, I have already been discharged from endocrinology as pth was at normal range but on lower end at 2. 7pmol. I just wondered If anyone else has had same problem and if anyone else has experienced itchy feet. Gets really annoying sometimes. And if blood results are only a little low gp will put no further action, it was better when I was on 2 adcal.
Hi Miss mole
I’m sorry to read about the issues you're having. Although I'm not a member of this group, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.
I hope you get some answers from both this group and the medical profession soon.
Anne
