Hi me again
i contacted my thyroid support nurse and got my Tg level. It has risen from 0.2 to 0.8 hence why they have upped my Levothyroxine dose to 125mg daily and bloods done again in 7 weeks and Thyroglobulin will be done in 6 months. Still worried about this rise? Xx
Aha, now this adds another element to the story that I hadn't spotted when I replied to the other.
If your T4 dose has been increased, you probably weren't sufficiently suppressed, and that can cause any remnant Thyroid cells (which you have because you didn't get RAI) to start producing Tg.
Getting your TSH to the right place may well return your Tg to where you expected it to be.
Best wishes
Barbara

Thanks so much Barbara for replying. I needed that. I did have RAI treatment after my full thyroidectomy as it had spread to my lymph nodes. During 2025 they started to change my Levothyroxine after almost every blood test for my TSH levels. In January my TSH has lowered from 2.42 to 1.86 but they want it lower. It was my Thyroglobulin done in Nov that worried be going up from 0.2 to 0.8 and I just wondered why and started to catastrophese. Now on 125 mg levo per day and bloods getting done in 6 weeks and Tg rechecked in June. Had a really sore hip and had myself panicking that cancer was back and spread. Sorry for feeling like this but anxiety has been bad x
