Hi everyone
not been in here for a while but now I’m in a panic! Had TT 2022 and left neck dissection. Level since then all good and Thyroglobulin undetectable. Recent blood test say TSH now 1.86 as it was 2.42 but they want it lower so they have upped my levothyroxine from 100 mg to 125mg per day. The worrying thing for me and raised alarm bells was that my thyroglobulin is now slightly detectable!! she said. So having more bloods done in 6 weeks to see where it’s at! If Thyroglobulin doesn’t go down then I’ll get a scan? So thought this was behind me and I’m now in a bit of a state. I take collagen every day as well as B12 and wondered if that could be impacting on my bloods? Any advice most welcome xx
Hi Dexx
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and, although I'm not a member of this group, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.
Did you speak to your hospital team to see if taking collagen and B12 was okay while having treatment? If not maybe have a quick chat with them.
Wishing you all the best
