  • Hi

It's always worrying when you find something which you feel needs investigating when you've previously had a cancer diagnosis. Has your doctor said that it is metastatic thyroid cancer or are you assuming that it must be related to your cancer?

I hope that your surgery proves that it is totally benign and that a member of this group might have had a similar experience to you and can pop on and share it with you.

It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • I don't know everything but I have been here for 13 years and I have never heard of any type of thyroid cancer causing skin metastasis.

I also have a morbid fascination with Dr Pimple Popper and a fluid filled bump is often a cyst.

I suspect this is unrelated to your thyroid cancer.

    Best wishes
