Hi folks
Now nearly 7 months since my TT and 4 months since RAI. Back at school but teaching does not help my voice! Had to go to docs today as I had a really sore throat. She said my glands are swollen and my throat looks inflamed. She has given me antibiotics and a throat spray and has also contacted my special nurse to let her know. Good to know they are are communicating and taking care of me. I think the sore throat is due to being. Ack at school, talking non stop and lots of germs flying about! Doesn’t stop my head from going walkabouts though! Xx
Hi Dexx
I hope the antibiotics and throat spray are beginning to do their job and you're feeling more comfortable now.
I don't think there's anyone within this community who doesn't worry when they get new symptoms but hopefully yours will just be a sore throat.
It's great to read that your GP seems very on the ball.
Thinking of you

Thank you latchbrook, yes the antibiotics are starting to kick in. It was so good of you to reply. I hope you are well xx
Glad to hear that Dexx
I'm not doing too badly thanks. Had chemo yesterday but this one seems to be quite kind to my body and the only side effect I'm getting so far, touch wood, is feeling tired in the afternoon. However, as I'm retired I can please myself and have a little snooze if I feel like it.

Awh that’s good. Fingers crossed it continues that way. Big hugs xxx
