  • Hello

You need to get some help. Preferably sooner rather than later.

I would suggest letting your surgeon or oncologist know that you are suffering and also speak with your GP - if you can get through to one these days.

Between them, the doctors should be able to address your physical issues but it sounds like you need somebody to talk to who will listen and give you some time to talk about your feelings.

Please try one or more of the following:

The Macmillan helpline phone number used to be on every screen - now it seems I have to hunt for it. So if you also had trouble to find it, here it is 0808 808 00 00.

I think they are open from 8 am to 8 pm.

You could also try Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust -  07399 564463

Samaritans are available around the clock on 116 123

    Best wishes

    Barbara

  • Agreed with Barbara. you need help who can guide you in the right path. Someone needs to boost your moral. Please reach out to people who are expert in this area. call the number ( Macmillan helpline phone number etc.) Barbara have given. in case you/your family are working, you can also try to access mental health line through employee assistance program (mostly all the employer have employee assistance program for all of their employee and family members).
