I had a FNA biopsy last year which was repeated two weeks ago. My initial results for the one nodule were Thy3f but when I had the second biopsy, the doctor decided to biopsy multiple nodules not just the one that looked concerning. I have an appointment next month and I am tempted to just wait for that to get my results but I really would like to know what is going on with my thyroid. I can view other scans on the hospital patient portal but they never seem to upload my thyroid results.
Have others emailed or rung up the hospital about results or is it best to wait?
Hi KaspianSce
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and, although I'm not a member of this group, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.
The problem I've found with phoning the hospital for your results, is that you can't always speak to someone who is authorised to discuss them with you but you could always give it a try.
