Hi, yes, I had a TT and right neck dissection in Feb 22. Then two lots of RAI as they found more cancer in Nov 22. Recent scan and bloods fine. Hoping to be put on annual checks when I speak to my oncologist next week. I have 50% tall cell. The primary was 4.5mm when it was found by chance due to an apparently unconnected cyst on my thyroid.
Hi Gold Finch! I’m 70% tall cell. Only ever had one round of RIA but it’s a future option. I know tall cells don’t secrete as much thyroglobulin but my last lot of bloods a month ago were undetectable which is obviously great. I have ultrasound and bloods again In August and if everything ok can go back to 6 monthly checks. There are a few lymph nodes in neck area they are keeping an eye on!
