Scan results after RIA

Yep chest infection after chest infection...

Also my appointment for my scan results has been moved to the 1st may! No reason given! Grrr 

Only one more sleep!

Have my appointment with oncologist in morning finally after 9-10 week wait since scan and I'm hoping and praying everything went good with my RIA and nothing showed up in the scan!

So good news!

Uptake from RIA was just in my neck no where else! 

He checked my neck etc and my bloods.

I needed an increase in my Levothyroxine however because of all the side affects (palpitations, heat, tiredness, insomnia, diarrhea) he is going to leave it at 175 mg for now.

My doctors didn't do a test for my thyroglobulin so he did one today to check for tumor markers. 

Recheck me in September!

But overall good news so relieved  

Oh that is good news! Not nice having to live with the thyroxine effects but I guess we just have to keep focused on the bigger picture. Really happy for you x

Hope you don't mind but I tagged you in a recent post from T.hoff123 “Thyroid cancer with lung mets causing trouble.” I thought of you as think he may have the same variant as you have? Hope that was ok.

I got mine within short order, may be a few days. My physician called me.
