Seeking advice

  1. I recently found this lump in my neck but when I went to the urgent treatment centre the dr brushed my concerns off because it was discovered I have a kidney infection. Should I still be worried & should I seek a second opinion & ask for tests? Thank you

  • I would book in with GP rather than UTC. And then see how it goes. Only small percentage of lumps is actual cancer so do not panic just yet. 

  • If it's a lumpy lymph node, then that would make sense - that might be swollen due to the infection elsewhere.

    If it's in a thyroid position - central, base of the neck - then ask for that to be checked.
