Has anyone had a EBUS test for chest biopsies with sedation wondering what to expect and how much of it I will be aware of once sedation is given
thanks
Hi Laurb welcome to the forum and even the names of some of these tests can put the fear into us. I dont know a lot about that particular test but found the below information on this site from Macmillan, so if you click that link it should take you right to the information.
I can imagine that you may, as the info says, have a sore throat for a little while after but that should pass and in relation to the sedation I imagine that they will keep you comfortable and a nurse will be there beside you to make sure that you are. if you felt able to you could give the Macmillan Line a call and see if you could speak to one of the nurses there who may be able to give you any further details. 08088080000
