Hello,
New here, I have searched the group but can't find out much. Dr referred me to endocrinology and ENT after finding a lump on my thyroid but also have said that my thyroid levels are high so I have an overactive thyroid.
ENT have referred me for an ultrasound and FNA.
Anyone else with high thyroid levels then been diagnosed with cancer?
Thank you for your experiences.
Help me out here, can you?
Have you been told that you have thyroid cancer, or are you worried that the lump might be thyroid cancer?
If you haven't been told you have cancer, then my answer would be that it's not unusual for hyperthyroidism to create a lump that isn't cancer.
Best wishes
Barbara
