Hi There,
I am about 24 hours post surgery after a partial thyroidectomy due to papillary carcinoma. I am physically quite comfortable but was unable to sleep until 8am this morning, and only for about 2 hours. I feel like I am on speed but it is just unfocused internal hyperactivity.or something. Kind of hard to explain. I just feel exceptionally jittery. It is completely unexpected as I did not anticipate mood or energy changes so quickly, and thought if anything it would be fatigue or low mood. Could anyone offer some feedback or personal experience on how long this lasted and how one can cope? It is a highly uncomfortable feeling.
