I am having a biopsy of a u3 thyroid nodule on Monday. I'm planning to drive myself back home after. I wondered if you felt ok to drive or were too sore? The appointment is at 3pm when my children need collecting from school so I would want my husband to get them rather than drive me when I'm sure (hope!) I will be fine on my own.
Thank you
Hello ,
I drove myself the hour drive home after my biopsy in February last year. I found it OK, it was a bit sore when I was checking my blind spot looking over my shoulder, but bearable. I would say just to try to turn your neck slowly if you need to, but but it's definitely doable.
Hope this helps!
Kathryn
Thanks Kathryn. I thought it would be ok but didn't want to get stranded at the hospital.

Also no idea how that emoji jumped in at the bottom!
It's the small things you start to worry about isn't it! It's just nice to be told other people have done the same thing/been through the same thing.
I hope it all goes well for you on Monday!
