JUST HAD RESULTS BACK FROM BLOOD TEST - I AM THREE YEAR POST TOTAL THYROIDECTOMY FOR PAPILLARY CANCER- AND MY THYROGLOBULIN ANTIBODIES ARE RAISED - CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT THIS MEANS OR SUGGESTS? EVERYTHING UP UNTIL NOW HAS BEEN NORMAL
Hi
I can't help with your question but noticed you hadn't had any replies yet. While you're waiting you could also post this in the ask a nurse section of the community and one of the specialist nurses should be able to explain what this means in general terms.
You could also give your hospital team a call and ask them to talk through what these results mean as they will have access to all your medical records and so can give you a specific answer.

Hi Ice cream lady
What were your TgAB readings last time and this time? We can't give you any sense of whether the rise is significant without knowing the numbers.
Also, what were your Tg readings each time, and was your TSH well suppressed in both cases?
Best wishes
Barbara
