Hello!  I am so happy to find a Thymus Caner support group.  It hasn't been easy but I wasn't going to give up my search.   I feel so blessed to now have others who are experiencing what I now am to speak with.

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm not a member of this group but I noticed that you hadn't had any replies to your post yet. This appears to be a very quiet group so probably the best way of connecting with others here would be to reply to some of the more recent posts that others have made.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • Hi There.  Sorry I'm just responding.  I work during the week so it's been hectic.  Thanks for your suggestions.  I will definitely try them.  Also I need to put a question out to the community regarding Keytruda.  I'm about to begin that type of treatment for 6 months.  I'd like to connect with others that have or may have been on it  before.  Thanks again for contacting me.  I appreciate it.

  • Hey Rene, I’m new here too!

  • Hi Rene, I recently got diagnosed (over the phone) too and see and speak to my consultant for the first time on Thursday., very nervous as not sure how bad it is and what type of operation I need.
