My son has a Seminoma of the thymus? Ive been told this is usually found in the testicles but can be found in the chest area . It cant be operated on due to where it is ,its too dangerous so hes having 4 rounds of BEP chemotherapy. Has anyone else had this or heard of it .? We are on round 3 of BEP monday .  Half way point and wondering if anyone else has had experience of Bep ? Thanks Vanilla slice .

  • Hi

I've had a search through the previous posts in this group but, unfortunately, haven't found anyone who's mentioned having seminoma of the thymus or being treated with BEP. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that there is no one in the group, it could just be that they haven't posted yet.

If you type BEP into the search bar and choose 'anywhere' you'll find lots of people within the community who have posted about this type of chemotherapy. You could have a look through some of the more recent posts to see if they mention anything you particularly want to know about the treatment. Alternatively, you could post a question in the ask a nurse section of the community and one of the specialist nurses will aim to respond within 2 working days.
