Chemo (carboplatin) treatment progress. It has now been nearly a week since our son had one and only chemo session for stage 1 seminoma testicular Cancer. We were really worried about what to expect, and so far he has felt no different and been eating and drinking well. I know everyone is different but I hope this brings comfort to someone. Do highly recommend starting constipation meds on the chemo day, what everyone has said is true, it sure slows down that. Pippa P

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and, although I'm not a member of this group, I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to share your son's experience with chemo. I think it's natural that people expect chemo to be awful but quite often it can be quite doable, as I found, and I think to share this gives others hope that the treatment might not be as bad as they fear.
When you have a minute, it would be great if you could put something about your son's diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway.
