Hey guys, I’m new to this group, but I’ve been reading through some of the posts for the last few weeks. I had my left testicle removed about 5 and a half weeks ago. In the last week or so, I’ve been feeling an ache in my remaining testicle, that has me really worried. I have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow, but I’m unable to see my urologist in person, because they’re booked up. I just wanted to get some opinions, to see if anybody else has dealt with this, and see what their experiences were like. It feels similar to what I was feeling in my left testicle before I was diagnosed, so it has me really worried. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I have not gotten a prosthetic at this point. It’s something I’ve thought about, but kind of what you were saying; my girlfriend has been with me through this process, so I don’t find it necessary at this point in my life. But I haven’t talked to anybody with prosthetics, so I was curious.
There hasn't been an upside or downside either way TBH.
Hi.
I called my specialist nurse at exactly five weeks after my op because of an ache. I had two doctors examine me, basically squeezing me and checking the "bounce". They thought it was fine and normal for that stage, and it appears they were right many months on.
Get it checked, but don't be too concerned. I'm 9 months on now and still get dull aches.
