I would be interested in learning if anyone has experience, after a bilateral orchiectomy, with pellet therapy. I have been on shots, creams, or gels for the better part of 27 years. I recently tried pellets but my body seems to be rejecting them. I literally have had two (with a third on the way) get pushed back out and it has been 8 or 9 weeks since they were inserted. BTW, this is round two. The first time, my body pushed one out at about 7 weeks. I assumed it was a fluke but in round two (12 weeks after the first time), it seems more are being rejected.
Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions?
Hello JG_BiLateralOrch1996
I have just noticed your post which has gone unanswered. I am sorry I can't give you an answer as I have a different cancer but by me replying to your post it will be "bumped up" to the top of the forum. Once it's back there I hope it's seen and answered by other Community members who have a similar diagnosis.
I don't know if you have asked this question to your care team, but have you thought of asking one of our specialist Cancer Nurses. Here's the link you can use-
Once you have posted your question, please give them a couple of days to answer as they are quite busy.
I hope the above helps and your issues get sorted.
Best wishes - Brian.
