Hi guys. Anyone experienced chronic epididymitis after surgery. I got epididymitis after surgery and then had antibiotics to sort it. But unfortunately I've had swelling come back. I've had an ultrasound a month or so ago and they said all looked fine but the swelling has got worse since then. I'm going to ask to be seen again if it doesn't go down. On holiday at the moment so can't do much. Thought I'd ask about and see if anyone has had this.

While I have never had TC I have encountered chronic epididymitis. I have a enlarged prostrate and also a very large epidermal cyst and between them had multiple trips to the GP where like you say antibiotics cleared things up but then a little while later I was back in the same position. Once I was in such severe pain the out of hours doctor recommended a call to 999 and then spent the best part of 20 hours in A&E.
I currently take tablets that help me to empty my bladder more easily and touch wood the problem has not recurred.
