Hi all
My son who’s 28 is currently undergoing his 3rd round of chemo. Today he has had a MRI to then be told this afternoon that it’s not just 1 lymph node that has been effected it’s 3. They have now decided that after his 4th round he will have them removed in a London hospital as they are still growing
I have many questions …. how long after the 4th round will he have to have the operation?
We have been told it’s a major operation so how long is the recovery? What are the important things I need to be asking his oncologist?
Many thanks
Hi Tabb
I can't help with your question but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list.
While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could pop something about your son's diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
