My boyfriend needs Radiotherapy after removal of Tumor to make sure cancer doesn't return. They said he will need it over 6 weeks but I've read on this site and various cancer websites that it should only last 2-3 weeks. Is this normal? Seems excessive TIA
Hi and welcome to the online community
Although I'm not a member of this group I noticed that your post had gone unanswered. By replying to you it will bump your post back to the top of the page where hopefully it'll be seen by someone with the right experience to answer.
If you don't get any replies you could post your question in ask a nurse and one of the specialist cancer nurses will respond within 2 working days.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your boyfriend's journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Wishing you and your boyfriend all the best
