lump on scrotum sack

I have a lump on my scrotum sack I noticed it 4 days ago its right round the side at the top pressing against my inside leg it's about the size of a marble it was really hard when I first noticed it and there was no pain but then it become really inflamed and sore it's since softened out and seems filled with blood it's still really sore what could it be

Chances are it's a cyst or an inflammation of the epididimus because of where you described it. You have said it's in the scrotum rather than attached to the testicle itself which is good.

You do need to see a GP though as they can prescribe antibiotics or do an ultra sound if needed.

hi thanks for reply I think it was a syst as it popped well I squeezed it and loads off gunk come out (nice!!)

Hi I have something similar. It used to itch but has now developed into a 2-3mm white hard lump. I think it's a cyst but I have had 2 types of cancer in the past. Has yours returned since you squeezed it?
