Hi guys, is it true about the side effects from low or no testosterone depending if you lose one or both testicles?

Taking TRT can increase risk of heart attack, risk of prostate cancer, weight gain, ache, water retention, swelling of ankles and legs?

What are peoples experiences when taking TRT ?

Thanks

  • Thank you sistermoon, I did wonder why there has been no replies, I guess no one is taking testosterone replacement, or not wanting to share their story.

Thank you for your support, very kind of you.

  • Hi

I was told it is unlikely you will need trt after the op to lose one.   I didn't have levels checked before but the surgeon suggested the tumour would have affected my levels anyway pre op.

My levels after are deemed ok, albeit in my head I had convinced myself they were off!!   I am older than most folks with TC so I would be lower anyway

Only a few thoughts but hope it gives you some insight

  • Hi

    I have had both removed (2016 & 2023)

I am on TRT gel, I have been actively loosing weight since before last years surgery and have continued to do so. I have got no libido anymore, my endocrinologist says my testosterone levels are where they should be but my sex drive has gone. I do think I am more tired and irritable than I used to be.

No other side effects that I am aware of so far.

  • Hi everyone! Just wanted to share my experience. A few months ago was prescribed Testosterone therapy. Fortunately, my medical clinic, where I received my prescription gave me an amazing consultation about this process, but I would like to read real experiences from people. Check useful info on medzone.clinic/.../. If you need any information, I would love to answer your questions!
