Hi fellas, since having my testicle removed I have a triggering pain at the external inguinal ring.
There is a bit of lumpy tissue under the skin which feels like some sort of stump, and when the tip gets touched it triggers pain which last hours or even days.
Has anyone else suffered this, does it get better, or will I need further surgery to correct it?
Thanks everyone.
Hi Chip5
I'm sorry to read about the pain you're experiencing since having surgery.
I can't help with your question but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be easier to see.
Do you have a cancer nurse specialist (CNS), sometimes referred to as a keyworker or a Macmillan nurse, assigned to you? If so you could give them a call to talk through your problem with them.
While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'.
