Hi all,
Hope you're all well
After a recent diagnosis, I have an op booked next week to remove my left testicle.
Having not had surgery of any kind before, I'm really dreading the whole experience. How was it for other people?
Cheers
Hi Jim
It won't be as bad as you're expecting. A bit of waiting around, discussions with your nurse, surgeon, and anethetist, and then you'll go in for your surgery.
Afterwards you'll be a bit groggy obviously, but not in pain. They won't let you leave until you've peed. You'll be tender and sore for a couple days, but then quite a quick recovery from there.
Try not to worry, and best wishes.
