I was diagnosed with stomach cancer about 5 weeks ago, I start chemotherapy next week, I m also a coeliac, I was just wondering if anybody else is gluten intolerant and did the chemotherapy have any adverse effects because of it.
Hi Nar56 and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to read that you've been recently diagnosed with stomach cancer but it sounds like your team are on the ball with you starting treatment next week.
I don't have the experience you're after but, if you haven't tried this already, you could type 'gluten' and 'coeliac' separately into the search bar at the top of the page to see if anyone else in the group has mentioned this condition in a previous post.
While you're waiting for replies it would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Wishing you all the best with your chemotherapy
