Hi everyone,
this is my first posting and first experience of a close relative with a diagnosis of cancer.
my father of 74 years of age has just discovered he’s got this.
i know nothing of cancer and am trying to get some kind of idea as to the severity of this.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?
thank you
Hi
I welcomed you to the community a few days ago so I'm sorry to see that no one from this group has yet responded to your post after I suggested that you joined this group. By replying to you it will 'bump' your post back to the top of the page where it'll be more easily seen.
It would also help the other members of this group to answer you if you pop something about your father's journey so far into your profile. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
While you're waiting for replies you might like to take a look at this information from Macmillan about stomach cancer. It tells you what stomach cancer is and the different types of treatment that your father might be offered.
Wishing you and your father all the best
x
