Hi everyone,
Its been a while since I last posted. Brief history - Mum diagnosed with stomach cancer December 2018, partial removal of stomach, gall bladder and proportion of small intestine Jan 2019. Cancer found to of spread to pelvis and spine. 6 rounds of EOX chemo finishing in August 2019. All cancer responded well to treatment and currently on no medication.
Since August my Mum has had around 4 urine infections. Some go away with one course of antibiotics others have went away and returned within a week of stopping antibiotics.
We have a follow up review with oncology department on Tuesday but just wanted to know if anyone else has had this other?
As soon as she starts taking the antibiotics she becomes very nauseas and loses her appetite but when feeling good she really does have a good quality of life so its so annoying that the infection keeps reoccurring.
Thanks, C.
